American Dream?
mother has said: “if the time comes where I have to, I think I would move back to the Philippines this year…life is just getting so hard here…I feel like I can’t survive here anymore”
Has anyone done research yet on Filipina/o Ams. going back “home” permanently? I think I found a future topic to investigate.

not sure. but def would be an interesting topic. my uncle wants to go back. i think he agrees life is getting hard here. life is simpler in the PI. also, he feels he has more status there.
